E-commerce is growing strong in both influence and revenue. Unfortunately, it is also creating a destructive amount of waste along the way. We think that there’s a dire need for an intelligent, sustainable solution. Enter: THE BOX. Intelligent, reusable new packaging enabling a truly circular economy, decked out with sensors and systems that streamline shipments and secure transactions. Once integrated into the market, THE BOX will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of logistics, and make sending and receiving packages more convenient and safer for vendors and shoppers alike.
We kicked things off in 2016 as a small research team developing THE BOX, based in Nantes. Since then, we’ve grown to a kick-ass team of nearly 80 people, with offices in Paris, Nantes, and Berlin.
There are over 35 patents for THE BOX, some granted, some pending. We’ve run successful pilots with big partners such as Orange, Cdiscount, and Chronopost. THE BOX was named the “product with the greatest potential to change the world” at CES 2020, and there’s been overwhelming industry interest since. Next step: mass-production.
This is still the calm before we take the e-commerce market by the storm! Going with what we believe is right, we want everyone to have a share in our excitement and success.
